Description
Little Golden Gate, also known as Beaver Bridge, was built in 1949 and is the last suspension bridge of this type in Arkansas. Located on Highway 187 between Eureka Springs and Rogers, the charming wooden plank bridge is 554 feet long and a mere 11 feet wide.
Crossing the one-way bridge leads you to the tiny town of Beaver where you can take an easy walk on Poker Bluff Trail (pictured above) along the White River or visit the town’s campground on the opposite side.
