Photographer, LaDonna Greiner, discovered this delicate flower early one morning in March. Anemone are among the first to break through the leaf litter of winter on hillsides throughout the Ozarks. The Rue Anemone in the photo (thumbnail on back of card) covered a hillside at Cobb Ridge in the Mark Twain National Forest near Chadwick, Missouri.
